A Revamped Entertainment System

Power, Performance, and Range

The Mach-E GT Performance model will put out about 460 horsepower and 612 pound-feet of torque. To achieve the claimed 300-mile range in Ames or Jefferson, you'll have to pick the Mach-E with rear-wheel drive and extended range. For this model, Ford expects figures of 332 horsepower and 412 pound-feet of torque. Magnetic damping and Brembo brakes will be optional. The Mach-E will come with three different drive modes: Unbridled, Engage, and Whisper. You'll be able to fill your sleigh and deliver those gifts quickly!

Getting Inside

As a Mach-E buyer, you'll be able to unlock and lock the SUV via your phone. Though the door 'handles' are, in fact, small buttons, there is a tactile door pull for the sake of safety. The front trunk offers a little less than five cubic feet of cargo area, while the rear trunk offers 29 cubic-feet. By dropping the rear seat, you'll get 59.6 cubic-feet of cargo room. Premium audio is optional, as is a panoramic sunroof that keeps the cabin comfortable during Christmas and all year long.

Battery Power

The Mach-E's lithium-ion/liquid-cooled battery will have 288 cells (for the regular model) and 376 cells for the extended-range version. It comes with a charging unit that can add 22 miles of range per hour when plugged into a 240V outlet. The built-in navigation system will help you find nearby charging stations.
